Planning Guide for Effective Rotary Clubs

This document should be completed by each incoming club president and submited to the district governor by clicking on the submit button located at the top left corner of the document no later than April 15, 2008. It has been made "interactive" in that you can complete this form on the computer and then print as many copies of the completed form as you like. You can also save the document to disk or location on your hard drive for future reference and to pass on to the next president of your club.

The Club Leadership Plan

The Club Leadership Plan is the recommended administrative structure for

Rotary clubs. It is based on the best practices of effective Rotary clubs. Because

each Rotary club is unique, the Club Leadership Plan is flexible enough to

support the individual needs of clubs around the world. Although it isn’t mandatory

for any club to adopt the Club Leadership Plan, every Rotary club, new

and old, can benefit from standardizing its administrative procedures based on

these best practices.

Presidential Citation Requirements & Form

The Presidential Citation is an achievement that can be earned by each club in Rotary International. Each year, the incoming Rotary International President selects several requirements, often coinciding with the Four Avenues of Service.  The club president fills out the certification or completion form as soon as their club has fulfilled the requirements for that year. The form is to be sent to the local District Governor before March 31, 2008.
