THE DICTIONARY PROJECT – In time for Back to School!

Due to the volume of requests received since introducing it at the April District Assembly, we are happily providing you the information once again on this wonderful and inexpensive literacy/public relations/community service project for your Rotary club or Interact club.

By presenting a Webster’s dictionary to every third grade student in your community, your Rotary club is providing each student the unique opportunity to become better and more active readers, good writers, and creative thinkers. Your Rotary club also benefits from the enormous satisfaction you will get from giving this delightful gift, the stronger presence you will establish in the community, and the enormous publicity it generates. How about a 4-WAY TEST bookmark with information about your Rotary club to accompany each dictionary?

Dictionaries cost approximately $1.25 each, plus shipping through the DICTIONARY PROJECT program, a non-profit organization based in Charlestown, SC.
