A Rotarian from the Rotary Club of Rockport, Ingrid was selected by the District Nominating Committee to be the nominee for District Governor in 2009–2010. Ingrid joined Rockport Rotary in January 1996 under the classification of Insurance. Her father, Marshall Swan, was also a member of the club from 1978 to 1992, so she was thrilled when she was asked to join. She served as the club’s president in 2003–2004. Ingrid has completed the Rotary Leadership Institute training, has been an Assistant Governor for the last three years and the Outbound Coordinator for the Group Study Exchange (GSE) teams for the last three years. In her professional life, Ingrid owns the CH Cleaves Insurance Agency in Rockport. In addition to serving Rotary, Ingrid is currently the President of the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Women, Inc. In addition, she’s the past president of the Chorus North Shore, the former treasurer and senior warden of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church of Rockport and a Trustee of the Corporation of the Granite Savings Bank. Ingrid is the mother of two and the grandmother of three. |
