

Ian G S Cruickshank, Team Leader
Ian has been a Rotarian since 1978; first with the Rotary Club of Signal Hill D9350, Cape and since 1982 with the Rotary club of Sandown, Johannesburg D9300. Ian was president of the club in 1989/90, and has been an Assistant Governor. He was a member of the GSE team from D9350 to Israel in 1972.
Ian is 72 years old. He is a graduate of the University of Capetown and is now a Forensic Architect dealing with arbitrations and alternative dispute resolution in the construction industry.
He was President of the Cape Institute of Architects 1975/7 and President of the South African Council for Architects 1979/86.
He is married to Denise and they have six children between them and four grandchildren. The children live across the globe; from South Africa to South Beach Miami and Dubai.
He is an enthusiastic golfer, plays off a 12 handicap, a life member of the International Fellowship of Golfing Rotarians and has traveled to many parts of the world with his wife Denise to play in the Fellowship tournaments. The last, being the tournament in Niagara Falls in July 2008. He also enjoys bird watching and being in the bush. Of necessity he loves to travel.

Shereen Flaming, a 26 year old, single female.
BA graduate, Shireen is an entrepreneur who runs her own imported kiddies clothing boutique. She’s interested in visiting universities, retail space, and environmental recycling businesses and household management, such as Clean Harbor and their CleanPack laboratory chemical packing services.
