ABOUT MATCHING GRANTS
Facing the economic realities, the Trustees of the Rotary Foundation have indicated that, in all probability, applications received after July 15 will not be funded. The Trustees, however, have indicated that they will review funding if the economy turns around.
If your club has questions about the appropriateness of a grant, please contact Linda Doliber (information above). Applications should be sent to Linda Doliber at 7 Westminster Road, Marblehead, MA 01945. Because of the time-consuming nature of vetting multiple applications, only completed applications will be accepted for considerations.
Example of a District 7930 matching grant at work:

District 7930 provided funds toward the Water Buffalo Bank for Pakistan. Each calm, female water buffalo costs about $400. Each buffalo is donated to the Rotary Community Corps (RCCs) in Pakistan. The village RCCs lend the water buffalo to deserving families, in return for a 50% stake in the offspring. Proceeds are then used to benefit the entire village. Potential uses of proceeds include providing potable water, medical supplies, school supplies, libraries, lavatories, waste pick-up, sewing machines, scholarships, etc.
If your club is interested in participating in a matching grant and would like to support a ready-made (existing) project that is simply awaiting funds, click here to be connected to ProjectLINK.
