The 15 Rotary Districts in Zone 31 proudly announce the
  Rotary
Ambassadorial Scholars
  & Ambassadorial Scholar Alums

Northeast L I N K
A Program For the Northeast Region of the United States

This program links Ambassadorial Scholars arriving in the United States with those departing for foreign lands and in addition provides a weekend seminar for the sharing of ideas, understanding and learning.

Scholars meet Rotary Foundation Scholars who have visited many countries and host Rotarian counselors from New York, New Jersey, New England and Canada and get an opportunity to share ideas and cultural differences.

Scholars are taught to understand the mission of the program, their individual roles and responsibilities, the cultural differences likely to be encountered -- basically to "link" scholars to Rotary and Rotarians, and also to each other.

Scholars begin a networking among each other, sharing Email addresses if they like, and form bonds that will be of great assistance as they start their year(s) of study and begin to be
Ambassadors of Rotary.

Above you see the happy faces of LINK 2006 as they posed for our camera! Two days of International Fellowship in September in Sturbridge, Massachusetts provided a wonderful springboard for Rotary's Ambassadorial Scholars of Peace and World Understanding.
