Calling for District Applicants for World Peace Fellowships
Do you know someone in your city or town who is passionate about peace-building? Someone your club would recommend to pursue a master’s degree at one of the seven Rotary Centers for International studies around the world? Someone who would go on in their career to have a significant positive impact on world peace and conflict resolution? Such an opportunity exists for the right candidate and District 7930 is on a mission to find that person!
The Rotary Foundation, through partnerships with seven universities offers annual scholarships on a competitive basis to up to 60 individuals internationally. The scholarship covers tuition and fees, room and board stipend, transportation, contingency expenses and an applied field experience.
General eligibility includes Bachelor of Arts or equivalent, work experience in a relevant field, proficiency in more than one language, excellent leadership skills and a demonstrated commitment to international understanding and peace through their professional, academic achievements and /or personal and community activities.
Because there is a strict timeline for the interview and acceptance process, applications must be received at District by (March 30th).
