Kristin Kelleher, the District 7930 and Ipswich Rotary Club sponsored Rotary Global Grant Scholar for 2016–17, recently returned from London, England, having received her Master’s Degree in Environment, Politics and Globalization from Kings College. Kristin sent the following and asked that it be shared with District 7930 Rotarians. “My graduate studies in London would not have been possible without your continued support. I enjoyed every minute of my London experience, both in the classroom and during my women’s empowerment service project. I will be eternally grateful, and I cannot wait to continue with Rotary and to stay involved with Rotary activities.”

Kristin has accepted a position with the Climate Action Business Association in Boston as their new Program Director, working with companies to help them become more sustainable and socially responsible. Kristin will be attending Rotary meetings in Boston and will shortly be joining Rotary as a full-fledged Rotarian. The accompanying photo shows Kristin presenting an Ipswich Rotary banner to Jagmohan Singh Bhakar, the 2016 – 2017 President of the Rotary Club of Tower Hamlets, the London club that hosted Kristin during her year of study in London.
