Thanks to all the Rotary Clubs who participated in the Arbor Day Project. You planted a total of 2,700 trees across the district partnering with your communities. This project is sure to Make a Difference in our environment, both from a health and a beauty perspective.

If you have a story to tell about how you managed the project and would like to share in an upcoming eBulletin, please submit a story complete with photographs.

Please share your story on social media with the hashtag #D7930ArborDay.

Over the next few months, do your best to check up on your trees and provide water, and maybe a little love, so that they will thrive through the summer giving them the ability to survive their first winter. As the trees grow 2 feet or so this year, take pictures and continue to post on FaceBook. You will be amazed at how quickly those little twigs become trees that will enhance the environment for decades to come.
