The Rotary Club of Chelsea annually sends twenty children from Chelsea to Camp Rotary for one week. Prior to attending camp the children attend an orientation meeting in Chelsea conducted by PP Susan Gallant who runs the project for the Rotary club. At the orientation Camp Rotary Director Dr. Richard Cowdell explains what to expect at the camp. Sue and other Rotarians then help the children and their parents with filling out the required paperwork and medical questionnaires. Prior to leaving the orientation each child is presented a backpack with personal essentials they can use at camp. The Rotary Club of Chelsea has been running this project for over 15 years.
