This month, PDG John Kramb, co-owner of Adams County Winery in PA, will be our guest speaker.  Adams County Winery opened its doors in 1975 in Orrtanna, PA and is currently Pennsylvania’s fifth oldest operating winery.  The Farm Winery sits on 40 beautiful acres of never-ending rolling hills and farmland.  The vineyard is home to five different varieties of grapes, spanning over 12.5 acres.

The winery operates out of an 1860’s bank barn and is a registered historic bank barn of Adams County. In 1988, their Tears of Gettysburg was born and remains one of the oldest wines in Pennsylvania.  This sangria wine perfectly balances hints of peaches, pineapple, white cherries, and citrus with a refreshing twist throughout. Fresh peach juice brings this sweet wine to life!

John and Katherine Kramb are co-owners, both retired from the U.S. Army. They purchased the winery following a visit to the Gettysburg area in 1998.
