District 7930 is proud to announce a new Major Donor to the Rotary Foundation, Gail Ralston from the Andover club. Gail’s own acknowledgement of the award says it best. “I can’t tell you how much this means to me! In a relatively short period of time, Rotary has become a second family. I value the way it has supported me through service, camaraderie and - in a very real way – THE OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE TO THE WORLD. Way back in the 1930s, my father received a college scholarship on behalf of the Rotary Club of Richmond, Indiana! His first name was also Paul, his birthdate was the same as Paul Harris and his/our family home was just a mile from where Mr. Harris had made his family home in the south area of Chicago. It must have been ordained that one day I would find my own way to a Rotary Club!”
