The District Assembly is our next step in the journey of training incoming club leaders for the upcoming Rotary year 2023-24, including the Grant Qualification Seminar, which is open to all club members. 

This year we will be in-person again and will be meeting at the Four Points Sheraton in Wakefield on Wednesday, April 12. 

For the Grant Qualification Seminar we recommend that each club send at least two members to attend - but there is no limit. If your club grant committee includes multiple members, it would be ideal if they could all attend and get qualified. The District Assembly is open to all Rotarians in our district!

The evening will begin at 5:30PM with five parallel tracks for:

  • Presidents-Elect – Post PETS
  • AGs
  • Secretaries
  • Membership and PI Chairs
  • Foundation Chairs


At 6:30PM we will be serving wraps, chips, soup and dessert and continue the evening with a working dinner meeting for all groups together.
In that joint session we will conduct our District Qualification Seminar for next years District Managed Grants and Global Grants.  Everyone who is present will get credit for attending the qualification and those clubs with at least 2 members will get the memorandum of understanding sent out to them for electronic signatures. 
The final session for the evening will be the district budget.  District Governor Elect Lori Karas and District Treasurer Arthur Schwartz will take us through next year's budget.  Please note that a quorum of Presidents Elect needs to be present to approve the budget.
Cost for the dinner (soup & wrap) is $35, which we ask you to please pay by credit card at the time of registration. There will also be a cash bar available.
