Environmental Justice is the fair treatment of all people with respect to environmental politics and their implementation.  A hallmark of environmental injustice is the persistence of geographic inequalities in the distribution of environmental burdens or amenities.

Who is our Guest Speaker?

Dr. Marcos Luna, Salem State University, Professor of Geography and Sustainability, describes the geography of environmental justice in our own backyard.

This presentation will illustrate how Environmental Justice is an important part of the struggle to improve and maintain a clean and healthful environment, especially for those who have traditionally lived, worked and played closest to the sources of pollution.
