International Women’s Day is held every year on March 8th, a day to celebrate the social, political, economic, and cultural achievements of women around the world. The theme for International Women’s Day 2021 is Women in Leadership: Achieving an Equal Future in a COVID-19 world. The coronavirus pandemic has impacted women and girls in significant ways, amplifying the inequalities they face every day. It is fundamental that women’s voices and experiences are central to national and global recovery plans. A key contributor to a more equal COVID-19 world is increasing women’s access to leadership roles. There is much to be done, in addition, we recognize the women around the world who are challenging gender bias and inequality and are changing the world as we know it. Even year on this day, we come together to celebrate achievements and to promote awareness about the importance of an inclusive world by making strides in women’s rights.

Join us virtually for our conference on Women’s Rights & Empowerment to celebrate International Women's Day 2021. This event aims to create a greater international network and strengthen our collective voice against issues that affect women--including gender-based violence and discrimination--and to work towards a world in which all women have access to quality healthcare, education, and equal opportunity.
