The Manchester-Essex Rotary Club held the annual Red White & Blue Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, July 2nd. I was a record-breaking success. We served over 1,200 breakfasts while offering free pony rides and face painting. The new addition to this year's event was a free water taxi from Manchester town center to the event location at Tuck's Point. Not only did it alleviate the traffic backup and parking, but it was also fun for our guests. One person who had lived in Manchester 20 years was overheard to say they had never been out on the harbor before.
