Congratulations to Megan Battinelli, Swampscott Cheer Team & Céire Rocco, Marblehead Cheer Team recipients of scholarships by the Marblehead and Swampscott Rotary Clubs. The recognition of these student athletes took place at the Rotary's annual luncheon held at the Tedesco Country Club.Honoring both student leadership and sportsmanship is the meaning of the annual luncheon. Supporting this aim, each year, Marblehead Rotary awards its scholarship to a Swampscott athlete, and Swampscott Rotary does the same for a Marblehead athlete.
