Congratulations to Christine Sloss recipient of a Paul Harris Fellow recognition. Christine was recognized during the Rotary Installation luncheon held on July 25th at the Eastern Yacht Club

A class leader at Marblehead High, Christine embraced her commitment to community service leadership. She was the President of the Marblehead High School Interact Club.
She also worked as a coordinator for all the North America Interact Clubs in a new, joint Rotary and UNICEF program, called the Initiative Interchange. The purpose was to raise money for universal education. This past summer, Christine organized a Rotary service trip to Nepal to help deliver physical therapy to injured survivors of the earthquake that devastated the country in 2015. See more about this project here.

Christine exemplifies the guiding principle of Rotary --- “Service above Self” -- the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business, and community life. She plans to continue her education in public administration, urban planning, and environmental sustainability
