The Marblehead Rotary Club is pleased to welcome Linda Sullivan inducted into the club at a recent Thursday luncheon meeting held at the Boston Yacht Club. Marblehead Rotary Club President, Alexander Falk, presided over the induction ceremony.

A graduate of Northeastern University, Sullivan spent the early part of her career working in marketing and customer service on the east and west coasts for the water purification and filtration industry. Several years later, she found her true passion to be the publishing world at Little, Brown and Company in Boston. As Corporate Secretary and Clerk/ Manager of Corporate and Community Affairs, Sullivan was responsible for planning and executing all corporate events as well as building relationships in the Boston community through employee participation in children’s reading events, ESL adult tutoring, mentoring middle-school children and serving meals to the homeless and disadvantaged.
Sullivan was also responsible for overseeing the corporate grants and gifts program supporting arts and literacy organizations within the local community and nationally through her participation on the Time Warner (parent company) Corporate Giving Council. She also oversaw the collection of historical artifacts of Little, Brown and Company including first edition books, original artwork and antiques, much of which dated back to the early 1800s.

Sullivan also serves as a Corporators Member of the Partners Health Care System, Inc., an alternate board member of the Marblehead Council on Aging, and formerly on the board of the Lynn Home for Women. Sullivan currently serves on the North Shore Medical Center Board of Overseers

Most recently, Sullivan assumed the role as family caregiver but is excited to return to a role serving the community and making a difference in other’s lives through Rotary.
