Early in September, our district hosted its third New Member Orientation Party in partnership with District 7910 in Newton, and we welcomed over 50 attendees. The event introduced new members to the overall big-picture of Rotary International, allowing clubs to focus more on club-level culture, policies, and information when they on-board new members. The vibe is fun, casual, and run like a party complete with snacks, dinner, dessert and decorations! The dress-code is “come-as-you-are.” Each session, we invite members who have joined within the past 2 years. If you are a veteran Rotarian, please encourage your new members to attend.
