In November, the nomination committee selected Pooja Singla, from the Burlington Breakfast Rotary Club as the District Governor Nominee Designee (DGND). An eBulletin went out to the entire District in November indicating her selection and asking for any challenges. No challenges were submitted by any club in our District by the December 31st deadline.
 
Therefore, we are excited to announce that Pooja Singla has been elected to be the DGND for District 7930 and will serve as our District Governor 2025-26!

BIO:
 
Pooja Singla is a Management Consultant since 2017 helping Non-Profit organizations in Metro Boston area. She has several years of working experience in multidisciplinary domains of non-profit environment, banking, healthcare, higher education institute and government offices, in the areas of administration, management, marketing, Information technology, and research and development (R&D). Pooja has a track record of developing successful programs and maintaining strong relationships with internal/external clients. She has also been recognized for her team work. She is the Chairperson of her organization’s Technology Committee and is a member of the Marketing Committee as well. She trains the consultants onboarding for their technology needs.
 
 
Passionate about giving back to community, Pooja joined Burlington Breakfast Rotary Club (BBRC) in 2018. Currently, Pooja is serving as an Assistant Governor in District 7930 since 2021. She is also a member of the District’s Public Image and Technology Committee as well as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee.
 
Pooja is a charter member of the District’s Polio Plus Society. Pooja is Past President of BBRC (2019-2020) and continues to be on Board of Directors of the Club.
 
Outside of her Rotary engagements, she is involved with Burlington Board of Health (BOH). She is a member of BOH BVRC/MRC Executive Committee and Chair of the Volunteer Training Committee. Pooja volunteers with the Indian Community in the area and is a co-editor of the IAB e-Magazine.
 
Pooja’s goals are not just to complete projects for short-term benefit, but rather to leave a legacy by enabling them to have an enduring effect for the benefit of others.
 
Pooja holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree, a Master in Arts (MA in English) and a degree in Computer Science.
