At a recent meeting, our guest speaker was Sharon Marrama from Connor's Kindness Project. The project was founded by her 12-year-old grandson during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a challenging time for a lot of children and Connor wanted some way to give back. Kindness Kits consist of hand-delivered boxes of carefully thought-out items, meant to be entertaining and comforting for children in challenging situations. The project reminds us that there is good in the world even at times when we are faced with conflicts and challenges. The ongoing goal is to help others while also spreading positivity, one act of kindness at a time. Over 16,000 kits have been delivered to date.
