While we wish it was safe to hold an in-person RYLA for high school students in 2022, we don’t believe we are there yet!  Because of that, D7930 will hold an Advanced RYLA for a small group of students who have already participated in RYLA.

The purpose of this weekend will be to continue to develop alumni who wish to continue their journey of leadership development and to support the RYLA program going forward.  While RYLA students currently lead families and participate in some of the planning, the event is primarily led by a group of Rotarians.  The longer-term goal is to have the weekend be more alumni/student led.

We are hopeful that the weekend will be held at Camp Glen Brook in Marlborough, NH, tentatively on Saturday-Sunday, May 14-15.  We are returning to Camp Glen Brook to be good stewards of our resources as we have a deposit there from 2020, when we had to cancel due to the pandemic.

The number of slots available for the Advanced RYLA are very limited, so alumni will need to apply.  The application will be available in early February. We will reach out to alumni through Facebook, a mailing, texts, and Instagram.  If you are in contact with any RYLA alumni, please feel free to share this information with them and encourage them to contact the committee.

If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact D7930 RYLA Chair Christina Harris
