We had a fantastic RYLA weekend May 10 - 12 with 70 kids (50 RYLArians and 20 student leaders) at Camp Glen Brook in Marlborough, NH!  We had the kids going from morning until late at night.  They were exhausted, but by all accounts, it was a very impactful weekend!

Here are a few quotes from the evaluation forms:
“RYLA was by far one of the best weekends I’ve ever had.  I will never forget this experience, and I’ll apply what I’ve learned to my life”.
“I really enjoyed this camp and feel that I learned so many life lessons that will change me as a person forever”.
“I will be honored to come back and will make the time to attend training while in college.  I swear by RYLA and use the lessons & concepts I’ve learned here on a daily basis.  I want to start a Rotaract Club at my college this fall.  Love all of you.  You are all my big RYLA family." (A “Super Senior” (i.e., 3rd year leader))

Thank you to to the Clubs and RYLA Coordinators for your support of the program through funding and finding  students!  A shout out to the RYLA lead team of Andy Maddox, Tracy Arabian, Peter Majane, Lexi Kantor and Keith Harris who put in countless hours to create an awesome weekend of growth, community and learning.  Also, a big thank you to Rotarian Advisors Tisha Hood, Mike McLaughlin, Frank Freda and to Kathy Morris for helping out behind the scenes!  Also, thank you to our videographer Liz Kidder - I can’t wait to show you the video she created - it’s awesome!  Coming soon . . .

If you have funds dedicated to RYLA that you were not able to use this year, please consider helping to defray the costs of the program as, for various reasons, we came up a bit short!  I can’t tell you how meaningful it is for the kids!

If you hear any feedback from your students that you would like to share, please pass it along.  We’re always looking for ways to improve the program.  Also, if you sent students, remember to invite them back to your club so you can hear all about their experience.

RYLA impacts lives and we are so grateful for the opportunity to work with these kids - they are truly amazing!

Christina & the entire RYLA Team!
