I hope you will join the District and be a part of the District Grant to award a Service Dog through the Service Dog Project, Inc to our recipient Micaila Britto.
 
Micaila is a United States Marine Corps Veteran who served for seven years before being medically retired due to injuries sustained while in service. Micaila’s Military Occupational Specialty was Aircraft Launch and Recovery with an expertise in the recovery efforts for emergency landings of helicopters and aircraft. It was the injuries she sustained during a recovery mission that forced her into medical retirement.
 
Micaila suffers from debilitating migraine headaches from a severe brain injury, and struggles with balance and mobility issues and chronic pain. Despite these injuries Micaila is passionately involved in Veterans Services.
 
Please consider supporting this Veteran with a Service Dog. Donations at the red ($250 +), white ($500+) and blue ($1000+) levels with be involved in the presentation as well as receive pins and be on a plague given to Micaila.
