Somerville Rotary Club was honored to be at the Somerville High School Annual Awards Night. Somerville Rotary granted $2,000 scholarships to two well-deserving outstanding students of Somerville High School. A brief background on the these high achieving young women, Mei Mei Collins and she will be attending Harvard University in the fall to study Environmental Engineering, while Saja El Saudi will be attending University of Massachusetts, Boston. The night over $175,000 in scholarships was awarded and a lot of the donors were residences of Somerville looking out for the next generation.
