On August 27 the Swampscott Rotary Club sponsored and held our 37th annual picnic for North Shore residents with disabilities behind Swampscott High School.  Our picnic is coordinated with Bridgewell and the North Shore ARC.

We had a beautiful day, mostly sunny and not too hot.  Hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, drinks and cake was served and over 80 guests attended.  During the day we were all entertained by music from our long-time volunteer DJ, David Legere.

The day was enjoyed by all.  It has been our privilege and pleasure to hold this great event for many years!

Many Rotarians, family members, and Swampscott High School students also help setup, cook and serve and interact with our guests.

We continue to be proud to uphold our Rotary motto of " Service above Self."
