Family Feud Style Trivia Night
March 24, 2019

More than 100,000 U.S. patients are currently waiting for solid organ transplants. Each day, about 77 people receive an organ transplant. Each day, 19 people die waiting for an organ transplant.

The numbers are overwhelming, but there is a way you can help a transplant patient right here in Middleton, Mass who needs your help. The friends and family of 21-year-old Nick Jarvis, are asking our community and the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) for life-sustaining assistance. Nick had a kidney transplant approximately one year ago and we are happy to report the kidney is working! But that is not where the story ends. In the past 15 months, Nick has attended 211 medical appointments and takes many expensive medications every day to keep his kidneys working. The COTA for Team Nick J community campaign is organizing an event to help with these and other transplant-related expenses. COTA funds are used for transplant-related expenses only, but can be used anytime in the patient’s life that he/she should need it.

On March 24th, TBM Rotary is co-sponsoring with the friends of the Jarvis Family a fun-filled Family Feud Style Trivia Night along with raffles & a silent auction from 4-8pm at Break Awayon Route 1 in Danvers. There will be a $25 entry fee (children under 12 free) with discounts for students and families. This includes a pizza buffet, soft drinks and cash bar.
