February is World Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution Month. Our annual World Peace & Understanding event on February 8th has featured the TutuDesk Campaign. As I have visited all the clubs in our district, the one theme from my DG visit presentation that resonated the most with Rotarians all over the district was the TutuDesk Campaign, so it seemed appropriate to focus our World Peace & Understanding event on this topic.The speaker lineup included Charlie Milner of the Marblehead Rotary Club, DG Randell Barclay of Rotary District 7870 (Southern VT & NH), as well as PDG Francis Callard from South Africa.
And we had a surprise visit from Rotary International President Jennifer Jones joining us for this amazing evening! What a treat!
