District 7930 Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee has created a District Governor’s Citation for all Clubs and Members. Clubs, can earn the District 7930 Diversity Equity and Inclusion citation for achieving goals that actively work toward making your club more diverse, equitable and inclusive. The DEI citation suggests 25 initiatives that clubs can do to create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive environment.In order to achieve the Governor’s Citation a club must complete and document 13 of the 25 initiatives. For instance a Club can readjust their dues structure to make membership more affordable or re-define what it means to be a “professional”. These and other initiatives will help make your Club grow, more diverse, equitable and inclusive.
More information including a citation information sheet with all initiatives can be found on our District 7930 DEI webpage. Remember, Diversity Equity and Inclusion will grow and enhance your Club and your community. This initiative is a journey and is the RIGHT thing to do.
If you complete at least 13 of the 25 initiatives, your club will receive a written Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion certificate signed by the District Governor, as well as awesome Rotary District 7930 DE&I pins for all club members.
